Just to let everyone know. The winter charging that was to be introduced from the beginning of October 2008, will not be introduced.

It's been a difficult couple of months trying to fight this one. I would like to thank Burnham's Chamber of trade and Burnham Town Council for representing us at the meeting.

A lot of us thought it was a done deal, but just look at what a little fighting can do when you stick together.

I say chaps , watch out for the 1 mile exclusion zone around Steart Island at the moment.
One of your fishing buddies found a UXB, and called us in .
We tried to detomnate the 700kg german monster but the water got our fuses wet.
Damm un fair show u know, better luck on Saturaday Morning eh chaps!! never mind after we have finished should be plenty of easy fishing for you, just need a landing net to scoop the bloaters up!!!!

Not looking forward to winching the boat backon the trailer at Ancona, might need the tractor.
Chris has suggested driving the boat on the trailer.
Might be a slight overhang on the trailer the boats 700ft long & the trailers only 20ft, should be ok though Quinneys not here!!!
Stavros & Christos28-03-2008 - 09:39
Out on the boat trolling for marlin up the adriatic at 32 knots, I think it might be a bit quick but the captain wont slow the boat.
Got to go Chris has a fish on, anyone got a flying gaff.
See you soon

I wanted to thank TONY TANDY who rang me not long ago to offer to take photographs at the competitions. His help will be invaluable to the content of the website. I have received the photos of the Feb comp and once I have the results things can get moving on the website once more! Hi All
Hope that some of your longer serving members may be able to help. I have recently purchased what I beleive to be a Shetland boat named 'The Black Pig reg no.BU897 which I understand was owned approx 2-3 yrs ago by one of your members. I am trying to find a little bit more about its history as it was obviously a boat which was much loved by its owner. I purchased that boat from a guy in Southport Any info would be greatly received.
